The Airport of Tenerife North - Los Rodeos It is one of the two international airports on the island of Tenerife, Spain. It is located in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, 11 km by road from Santa Cruz. It is an inter-island center that connects the seven main Canary Islands with the Iberian Peninsula and Europe.
Level 0 is divided into arrivals and departures, and level 1 houses doors 5-9 on the left and doors 10-14 on the right.
The traffic is basically of a national regular type and, within this, around 48 percent of the flights are connections with the rest of the islands of the archipelago: Gran Canaria, La Palma, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, El Hierro and La Gomera. It also links through regular domestic traffic with other airports in the rest of Spain. The most important destination is Madrid with more than one million passengers, followed by Barcelona, Seville and Bilbao.
In 2018, the airport registered a traffic of 5,493,994 passengers, 73,222 operations and 12,670 tons of goods.
In 2002, a new passenger terminal came into operation, responding to the growing demands of air traffic. Currently the airport has connections with numerous national and international destinations and has established itself as a gateway to the island.
